Title: Finally some news on RB Deshaun Foster Post by DirkDiggler on Jan 15th, 2003, 5:39pm This was posted on Kffl. It is about time I see this in writting. I have said this to people about Deshaun Foster over the past year but had no proof to back it up. Panthers | RB Notes - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com) 7:37 PT: Pat Yasinskas reports for the Charlotte Observer the knee injury suffered by RB DeShaun Foster has the Carolina Panthers thinking about selecting another RB in the NFL Draft. There have been rumors and speculation about Foster's surgically repaired knee, but the team won't know for another six or seven months how he will wind up. "We really won't know until July or August when we get to training camp and he gets back out there and see how he does," Panthers GM Marty Hurney said Tuesday during Senior Bowl workouts. "It's an operation that you don't know for probably for months how it's going to turn out. We hope he's going to be fine and come back." |

Title: Re: Finally some news on RB Deshaun Foster Post by StegRock on Jan 15th, 2003, 6:30pm Okay, I'll go get the "goods" from "the Gridrion Newsstand" yet again! ::) [smiley=tired.gif] Here is a link to the whole article mentioned above, good stuff: http://www.charlotte.com/mld/charlotte/sports/football/nfl/carolina_panthers/4949313.htm. I actually think he may resurface and be an impact somewhere someday, i.e. not on the Panthers and in 2004 or 2005. |
