Title: Kearse cursed?
Post by StegRock on Feb 8th, 2003, 1:19pm
HOT off "the Gridiron Newsstand", here is the latest on DE Jevon Kearse's surgery and contract situation:

http://www.tennessean.com/sports/titans/archives/03/02/28600970.shtml?Element_ID=28600970

What do you guys think about Jevon's future?  Do you think he will ever really recover from this foot problem and be able to perform at the high level he once did?  Do you believe the surgery to have been routine as the doctor suggests?  Or, do you think the concerns Titans GM Floyd Reese expresses are very justified or is that just typical GM-posturing in the hopes of signing him to a cheaper contract by questioning his health?  What do you think his fantasy value is as an individual defensive player as things stand now?  And, how much of a key do you think he is to the overall performance of the Tennessee Titans defense and, thus, to their value as a team defense for the purposes of fantasy football?  How 'bout this... do you think he is an overhyped player like many have come to suggest?

Inquiring minds want to know, my fellow "Gridironers"!

This surgery won't affect Kearse at all,  great players always find different ways of getting better, if one way doesn't work, work on another. Kearse is a great player who will find a way to produce.
