I'm surprised there hasn't been any comments. I can take negative criticism.  [smiley=howtoput.gif]

Your scoring system is very complex... is this something you came up with yourself?  [smiley=stars.gif]

It would be a lot easier to rate/judge your rankings if I understood how the scoring works! I'm sure it becomes second nature after playing in the league for a season or two, but being an outsider just passing through, it's a bit much to digest.

Just to be sure:

1. How many teams? (looks like 14)
2. How many starters per position?(1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR)
3. What baseline you used? (last starter, last player picked at each position, 150% of starts - which is normally what I use)? (last starter)

I like using 150% of baseline, just because it tends so give some value to the bench - it also seems to give the QBs a little more value.

Have you used AVT, or any tool similar to that, to make sure your projections are reasonable?  Basically just take previous years historical averages and compare them to yours to see if your numbers are reasonable - I may play with that some here later.

As for rankings within the positions:

I am surprised you have Tomlinson that far ahead of everyone else - I see the top 3 as being pretty close (my top 3 is actually Portis, LT, and RW though).

I have mcNabb as my #1QB, but the top 3 can go any way IMO.

I think Laveraneus (sp?) Coles may be a bit high.  I worry about the fact that there are 2 #1s there in Washington and I believe Spurrier has too much of a tendency to spread the ball around for either of them to be a stud.

You really don't like Hines Ward do you?

I can't do anything with your scoring because of the bonus points.  :(  Did your projections include all those bonuses?  If not I can give you something to work off of.

This is all based on projected stats for '03, right?

yes sir

bgs yes the bonus pts are configured in my projections.
I used the last two years of stats and FBG's projections on guys that switched teams. ( Price, Conway, ETC )
I'm not to sure what you mean about the 100% or 150% thing. What I didwas took my line-ups and found the last starter and subtracted that from the rest in that position. I hope I did this right.

There is no right or wrong way.  What you used was a "last starter" baseline.  If you would have subtracted the 21st QB, 42nd RB, and 63rd WR from each player then it would have been a 150% of starters baseline.  The other popular baseline to use is the "last player drafted" and with that one you subtract the value of the last player you think will be drafted at each position.

What I did last year was I mocked at Antsports using each of the different baselines until I decided that the 150% baseline worked best for me.
