Talk about havin' a WEAK receiving corps. Whew! :P Pretty much as bad as Arizona's at least for the first four weeks of the season.

I personally didn't have Jimmy Smith very high on my lists this year, but this just cements it for me. This could affect Fred Taylor as well. Taylor is now the ONLY person who can be counted on to produce, and this could just make him even more injury-prone.

Word has it that there are a few more high profile players who have tested positive. Nothing has been made public yet becasue they are still fighting the test results.

I personally see this as a great value proposition for Jimmy Smith - in my drafts, I've seen Smith fall to the 10th and 11th rounds...not a bad starting WR after Week 4 to help fill in your roster.

So who will be throwing to him in week 4 anyway? We know it won't be Randy Fasani, since he retired in only his second season. But other than that are we any closer to a Panther QB?

Great question.....but last I looked Jimmy Smith was playing for the Jaguars and NOT the Panthers.

Maybe STEVE Smith should be wondering who will throw the ball to him??? [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif]
