What do you Groovy Gridiron Gurus think of this guy?

He's won the #1 go-to guy position in Arizona.  The adverb phrase of location there may be the more telling qualifier in that sentence, though.  He did look like a mini-Boston, but understand that last week was a "freak" week.  I do think he'll be good in the long-run, but temper your expectations for him this year.  If he reaches 1,000 yards this year, and he already has 217, consider it a good year.  Get my point...

I think Boldin will finish with a solid season, barring injury, and will give Charles Rogers some competition for OROY.

There is a good chance he will have a decent year.  He has a great head start.  With the pathetic defense of the cardinals they will ALWAYS be behind.  Which translates to more passes.

[smiley=boxer.gif]says "he will have a good year by default.  Not nesecarilly because he is the next T. O."

One freak week is something to be afraid of.  Used most of his numbers and now will be watched more.

Sorry me and my evil alter ego are torn!@

Final conclusion....decent year.  Don't expect him to have a better year than Rogers.

He could have a decent year with Blake's 1-receiver vision.  But right now who knows who will be quarterbacking, so I don't see him being worth much more than a roster spot in most leagues.

Looking at him this week, he looks solid. He is getting thrown to a lot, and after THE HIT he took yesterday, shows he is tough. He still needs to improve his route running, but has great upside. ARIZ has a very good OL, good young RB(Shipp), and he should be a good keeper pick in larger leagues. He comes off bumps well, gets separation good for a rookie, and good visoin too.
Only time will tell, but he is doing well so far. Not a SUPERSTAR, but worth a roster spot in larger leagues.

Based on only two weeks, he looks legit.  His freak week was one thing, but he got thrown to frequently again yesterday and put up decent numbers (albeit without any scores).

He is on a bad team that will be throwing a lot to play catch-up.  Blake is a competent enough QB to be able to get him the ball.  I'd like to have him on my bench for bye-weeks this year...  I don't think you can make him a starter yet, but if he's still doing this after 4 or 5 weeks, maybe you can.

He is leading the league in yds. He is the real deal..I watched him again yesterday. He is running better routes and finding ways to get open. What can ya say. I still need to see more, but this guy is producing every week. His stock is climbing and seems to be Blake's go-to guy.
I say keep starting him until he falters, which je hasn't done yet.
Now he is the OROY guy and has more yds than any other WR. Moss and Harrison are catching him though.

Just curious though.. Didn't Rogers score yesterday?

I think they will both put up big numbers by default........they are on terrible teams that will be behind a lot.

If you are not sold on Boldin yet, I don't know what to tell you.
