I have 2 people commig at me hard for M. Harrison.
This is my team:
QB - Tom Brady, Doug Johnson and Tim Couch (who I did not play last night)
RB - S. Davis, M. Pittman, L. Jordon, A. Cason, J. Burns
WR - M. Harrison, A. Toomer, E. Kennison, T. Edwards and D. McCants

We have 14 teams and there isn't much on the wire.

The trades:
#1
I give Harrison and D.Johnson and E. Kennison for J. Lewis and J. Kitna and J. Smith
#2
I give Harrison and Pittman for P. Holmes and A Lilie
I'm leaning towards #1. Lewis has had the bye week and I get a good backup QB, a good WR to replace Harrison and I've played the team I'd be trading with. Any thoughts?

I like the first trade too.

Smith looks like he'll be fine based on his first game back. Jax will be playing from behind a lot during the year so they'll be looking to him a lot. He's certainly not as good as Harrison, but the rest of the deal is in your favor. Jamal Lewis has been studly and Kitna is a very solid QB.

I really like trade #2. You get Holmes and Lelie. Holmes is incredible and Lellie is really emerging.

You have to give up Pittman, but I truly think his value will not get higher than right now. Colts have a tough run D.

I would try the P. Holmes one. There you have definate top 5 ff player.

Could you get a different receiver other than Lelie?

This, I don't agree with. Thus, I like the first deal more. The second deal is good too, though. Don't get me wrong. But, with Alstott's injury and questionability for tonight's game, Pittman's emergence as of late and subsequently being dubbed their feature back by Gruden (link in "Buccaneers - Alstott Questionable (http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=55;action=display;num=1065305969)" thread), and the Bucs' going up against Indianapolis, a team susceptible to the run, tonight, I think it is DEFINITELY VERY possible that Pittman's value will be higher by the end of the night. I just don't think that it is the "optimal" time to trade Pittman... yet.

I agree with Steg.

Also, You have good RBs. Lewis is set by schedule for a slower middle third of the season.

You adversary is maybe gambling that KC will continue to spread things out (probably) or Holmes will get injured. I'd love to see his roster.

Lelie is great in keeper leagues. I think he'll be on and off this year.

Bottom line, he's just looking to get Harrison before tonight's game for number one scenario. (Might have a chance later, but he doesn't know that for sure.)

Number two looks good now, but not later down the road.

My recommendation is like Steg's. Don't do anything until after tonight's game. Then think a lot after that.

Update around the two minute warning:

The season for the Colts changes a lot in the mid-season - the schedule gets a lot easier for them, and Manning to Harrison should be incredible. Also remember, tonight Edge is out. That meansTB is going against the pass. Don't give up Harrison too readily. Everyone has been trying to get Harrison from me, too. Guess why.

It's a long season. September is just an extension of the pre-season. And for the Colts, tonight is probably the worst game of the year.

Second update: Just before the second 2 minute warning. Now you see why.
