Title: P. Holmes for S. Davis
Post by DC_Disaster on Oct 8th, 2003, 9:27pm
Ive been offered

P. Holmes and M. Booker
for
S. Davis and A. Toomer

My  other RB's are M. Pittman and L. Jordon
WR -  M.  Harrison, Tai Streets, T. Edwards
                         and D.  McCants

Scoring:
Rushing; 6pt=TD, length of TD bonus, 1pt per 10 yards
Recieving 6pt=TD, lenght of TD bonus,1pt per 20 yards and 4 catches = 1pt.

It looks like  KC has an easier schedule and I play a weak team on  KC's bye week.Should I pull the trigger for holmes or ride the Davis train?

Depends on your league scoring. I have SD in two leagues. In one we get a 5 point bonus at 100 and SD has been huge.
IMO opinion you are giving up consistency with SD & AT but Priest can carry a FF Team on his back and Booker is a low end WR presently although he will have his days. I would do it and then try to handcuff LJohnson if you have room.

I know his health is a concern but he IS the Chiefs red zone and is so explosive I might I might make an offer to the Priest owners in the leagues I'm in if they are feeling the same way!

Looks like RBs are more valuable than WRs in your league, so I'd make the deal.  Priest is fantasy gold, when he's healthy.  Davis has been consistent with the yards, but the endzone is a problem with him.

Make the trade. PH is going to score on a regular basis. Davis racks up yardage, but does not score consistently.

I concur with the masses here.  Priest alone for Davis and Toomer is not all that preposterous.  Consider Booker, and his lackluster showing thus far in '03, a throw-in and get this deal done!

I would scoop up Priest as fast as you can. He will get same/more rushing yds than SD and 1/2-2/3 toomers rec yds. Plus ya get Booker too!!! What is there to think about?? Booker had a slow start but still will be a top 20 WR when all is said and done.

I did okay this trade but the owner of Holmes changed things.  He now wants S. Davis and M. Harrison for Holmes and Andre Johnson.

NO WAY YOU DO THIS DEAL NOW.

You are better off with Davis and Harrison!!

Is this a keeper league?  Big difference there.
