Title: Aquire Steve Beuerlein? Post by steelkings on Oct 9th, 2003, 4:15pm Steve Beuerlein might be worth risking a couple of bucks on for a spot start. As of Tuesday, Plummer couldn't raise his throwing arm because of a shoulder injury. He is a QB that can throw, and the Steeler secondary could get fatigued in the thin Mile high air in the second half. By his qoute he may not be all that smart however. This is what he said today "We know that the Steelers are the top defense in the league right now, and they are shutting people down," Beuerlein said. "You can say what you want, but they are the fastest team we have played defensively, and they are the most aggressive team we have played so far, and they are going to be a big challenge for us." Hello...Steve...Hello.....The Browns and Titans just roasted them! At ketchup stadium as well. Steve b. might be worth a look. |

Title: Re: Aquire Steve Beuerlein? Post by captainpurple on Oct 9th, 2003, 6:13pm If I remember correctly, Denver folded up shop about the time SB took over. I don't think he was very effective. I would think there are better QBs out there. GO VIKES! |
