Kanell is starter now, but Broncs plan to pick up a free agent this week. The Broncos have Baltimore, New England, then a bye. Plummer or Beuerlein could be ready by then. Adjust accordingly.

Wouldn't ya know i started him this week. HA! Damn Denver QBs. Ever since Elway all they do is disappoint their owners.
If ANY could play a full season things would be different.

CHANGED THE TITLE OF THE POST FOR THE NEW NEWS. OBVIOUSLY IT HAS ALL CHANGED. KANELL STARTING AGAINST THE RAVENS SO FAR.

Dolfan, at home (in New Jersey, not BACK home) we talk about The Curse of Elway. (And I grew up very close to where he grew up. In fact, in East Brady, there's a big boulder at the foot of the town. Two streets go around it, one on either side. And in his day, they painted a picture of Elway on the boulder! And there's a big great view there over a huge horse shoe bend in a river way, way down. The gift shop at the tourist-view site was loaded with nothing more than picture post cards and Elway gear! Better yet, my cousin used to play against him in high school-they were both QBs. My cousin hated him. He always said, "He cheats!" Just some fun stuff.)

But I wouldn't give up on the Broncs just yet. There are a lot of games to play, and I don't even trust Shanny not to be palming a card or two. Bench Plummer if you like him. Bench SB if you think he'll be the starter. But I wouldn't dump yet if you have a good QB to play for now. Denver has the week 10 bye.

P.S. Gus Frerotte grew up even closer!
