Here is another one of our fun participatory threads here in "the Red Zone" (to go along with our "Red Zone PRIMED Players for the Week"). It is called "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week". Here, you are to list your key player(s) for the week, the one or ones that were key to your victory(ies). I really think we can have some fun with this! [smiley=dancin.gif] You can expect this to be up every Monday/Tuesday from here on out!

After a couple of bad weeks (missing players on byes one week and starting the wrong QB the next), my money league team has rebounded.

This week it was Torry Holt and Jamal Lewis who carried me to another convincing victory.

How do you choose an MVP when you have Alexander, Holt & Moss? ;D I give the game ball in week 8 to ME for I am the one who drafted these guys in my 6 team $$$ league. The other teams can [smiley=bow.gif] to ME. After MNF, I will have a 2 game cusion. Bring on the playoffs already.

Dom Davis & Reggie Wayne get game balls for my yahoo league. I went up against the top team in this league. Barring an LT explosion in Tempe I will be alone at the top in that league as well. [smiley=victory.gif]

Well done bakes.

I, unfortunately, am not doing as well in one of my leagues. Took another loss this week to drop to 2-6, with Daunte Culpepper being my top performer.

My other $$ league has me on top at 7-0-1. Priest Holmes and Stephen Davis share the game ball for me there.

Oh, where to start? I had a very good week this week.

Manning,Holmes,D.Davis, Ward and the KC D were all part of a big win for me this week against an arch rival in my 12 team league.

Well...

I am still amazed that I managed to get Priest Holmes with the sixth pick. He is one top canidate.

The other....Mr Torry Holt continues to amaze. You can't stop him! Can't even contain him!

And least we forget the sleeper canidates this week. While not necessarily MVP's, they far exceeded expectations. Rudi Johnson and James Jackson. Yes, both desperation plays who turned in a performance better than expected.

Did you just say 6th ROUND? Or was that a typo?? B/C I would bet most leagues had Priest taken before the 6th pick overall.

Yes, supposed to be 6th pick. ( i just edited it.)

And actually most leagues he went sixth. I was in 3 drafts where he went 6th. Remember he had major injury questions going into the season.

I'm doin' this late in the going... I forgot. Only split last week, I guess that's why.

I did get some good performances, though, out of Priest Holmes, Jamal Lewis, Chris Chambers and Santana Moss. As for game balls, again, since I only split my two games last week and nobody was over-the-top stupendous (as according to the GBRFL system), I'll just give one to the backs and one to the receivers to share.

But when you go 0-2 for the week noone gets a game ball.

Had a couple decent preformers but for the most part no stars. Wish I would have started Collins over Bledsoe.

This week's game [smiley=footballsmiley.gif] goes to Correll Buckhalter of the Philadelphia Eagles. In only 15 carries, he rushed for 100 yards and scored 2 TD's while carring the Mile High Madness to victory in the much anticipated rematch against the Spudsville Mashers. ;D

Mine were Jamal Lewis on O and Michael Rucker on D in my 5th QFL victory of the season...
