Title: Buccaneers - Sniffin' 'round Jamal Post by StegRock on Nov 6th, 2003, 3:18pm So, we've been pretty hush-hush on this topic around here. Maybe dudes are hopin' for the sneaky Week 10 free-agent pick-up. I don't know... [smiley=shrug.gif] Do any of you guys think Jamal Anderson is an intriguing fantasy pick-up? Here is a LOCAL report off "the Gridiron Newsstand": http://bucs.tbo.com/bucs/MGA66JK6OMD.html. Short, but VERY informative. For deep-keeper leaguers, I think picking him up is at least worth contemplating, especially in light of Michael Pittman's future, or should I say very possible lack thereof, and Alstott's fairly severe neck injury. What do you think? Moreover, with Pittman's nursing a hamstring injury of some kind and Alstott's being done, what could Anderson's potential impact for the remainder of this season be? Worthy of a fantasy look-see? [smiley=hmmmm.gif] |

Title: Re: Buccaneers - Sniffin' 'round Jamal Post by captainpurple on Nov 7th, 2003, 9:17am If you're in a super deep league, I guess he might be worth a roster spot. I'd grab a handcuff like Foster, Larry Johnson or Najeh Davenport first though. |

Title: Re: Buccaneers - Sniffin' 'round Jamal Post by Philly on Nov 7th, 2003, 10:35am The Bucs were inquiring about Ricky Watters too. Anyway, I wouldn't rush out to add either to your rosters right now even if you have the space. Pittman is still doing well, despite some nagging little injuries and a pending court date. I think the Bucs would look to Thomas Jones before a Jamal Anderson. |
