Title: What should I do with my team? Post by Tmoney300zx on Nov 12th, 2003, 1:44am Right now I am in fifth place, but I have the most points in the league, meaning that my team has not been very consistent. I need to be in the top four to make the playoffs, and I am a little unsure at this point. Anyways, scoring is standard in my league: 1 pt/10 yds, 6 pts/ 1 td. What do you think my weaknesses are and what moves would you suggest? QB- McNair, Kitna WR- S. Moss, Chambers, Warrick, Wayne, Key Johnson, Lelie, Price RB- Holmes, JLew, Dillon, C. Taylor TE- LJ Smith K- Brown Def- Seattle We must start 3 wr, 2 rb, and another wr or rb. Right now I am starting 4 wr and 2 rb, but would rather start 3 each since rb's put out more consistent points. I was thinking of trading for someone like Deuce McAllister, Alexander, or someone else at that level. Another option was to go for a more consistent receiver like S. Smith. What do you think would be the best choice at this point in the season and who of my players do you think I should/could trade away to get another good rb? Im not sure how to come out on the top of this one. Thanks! |

Title: Re: What should I do with my team? Post by captainpurple on Nov 12th, 2003, 9:27am First of all, you're one place out of the playoffs, with 1/3 the season to go still. Make sure you're not pushing the panic button unnecessarily. Do you have a trade deadline? That said, you don't have enough trade material to get Deuce or Zander, except maybe McNair. Kitna is a consistent QB this year, so if you're desperate enough for another RB, package McNair and maybe Wayne or Price for a Deuce. Kitna should still get you average, consistent points. I still stick with my first comment though, you probablly have 4 or 5 games left, and are only 1 position out. Might not be a need to trade unless it sets you for the playoffs. Good Luck! |
