Title: Bulger over CPepp this week? Post by captainpurple on Nov 21st, 2003, 7:37pm My first instinct is to take Bulger vs the scarlet chickens, even if it's on the road. But AZ managed to dunk the fannyPackers and the 48.5ers in Sun Devil Stadium. Do they have enough to do the same to STL? |

Title: Re: Bulger over CPepp this week? Post by Chumpzilla on Nov 21st, 2003, 7:46pm As intriguing as starting Bulger is, I thing I’d have to stick with Culpepper. He has been more consistent and will beat you with his arm and legs. Plus, Detroit’s defense hasn’t been a “world beater.” Both average giving up about 220 yards passing per game, with Arizona giving up 18 passing TD’s vesus 16 by the Lions. With the defenses being equally as bad, go with the consistency and Culpepper. 8-) |

Title: Re: Bulger over CPepp this week? Post by Walker Boh on Nov 21st, 2003, 8:12pm Talk about a good problem to have... Both players have the potential to put up big #'s, but I'd go with Culpepper. Minnesota is in big need of a win and their current losing streak should guarantee that they won't overlook the dreadful Lions who've lost 21 straight road games... 21! :o Good luck [smiley=thumbsup.gif] |

Title: Re: Bulger over CPepp this week? Post by Philly on Nov 22nd, 2003, 10:39am I'd go with Culpepper. If my Week 12 Gridiron Guarantee is going to come true (the Vikes score 50+ against the Lions), then Pep will have to have a huge week. |

Title: Re: Bulger over CPepp this week? Post by captainpurple on Nov 24th, 2003, 10:09am Thanks for the help all! I got infinitely more points with DC than Bulger! A whopping 5 turnovers and 4 sacks by Bulger negated his yards and TD, leaving him with 0. DC outperformed that by far, tallying a mind-numbing 1 point! Oh well, I'm still leading by 7 going into tonight with my opponent sporting the TB defense. Wish me luck, and go GMen! |
