Title: Conflicting Reports on Boldin Straightened Out!
Post by StegRock on Aug 12th, 2004, 1:01pm
Well, guys, as we are transitioning from "offseason" to "preseason", and the news is getting bigger and bigger with increasingly greater impact on the fantasy football world, it's probably about time to "drop" the "Offseason Team Report" threads.  That said, I want to extend a hearty and hardy thank you to everybody who participated in "the Red Zone" this past offseason and contributed to the "Offseason Team Report" threads. [smiley=bow.gif] You are the lifeblood of the site!

...

Regarding the Boldin injury, based on the chronology of the reports coming out, they seem to conflict.  Watching ESPN's "NFL Live" (during the day) today (which was taped last night), they claim that Boldin will only be out about 4 weeks.  There are also reports like this one on "The REAL Feed", which, despite (currently) topping the reports on Boldin's injury on "the Feed", were made BEFORE he underwent surgery and claim that he may only be out for just "a couple of weeks":

The POST injury reports all say that he will be out 8 to 12 weeks!  Here they are from (farther down) "The REAL Feed" and the LOCAL ones from off "the Gridiron Newsstand":

Okay,... I just wanted to bring ya'll up to the moment on this and eliminate any confusion and uncertainty you might have had regarding Boldin's injury. [smiley=borg.gif]
