im curious to jus get everyones thought on the top 10 LBs for a IDP league....im in a auction draft right now and im fishing around for a LB that hasnt been used cause i need another....plus seeing the list would be interesting.....thanks for your time....

Well, I don't know squat about IDP. But, here is what my fantasy Bible, Pro Football Weekly's Annual Fantasy Football Guide says, for whatever it's worth:

1) Ray Lewis
2) Jamie Sharper
3) Brian Ulracher
4) Keith Brooking
5) Keith Bullock
6) Donnie Edwards
7) Zach Thomas
8) Takeo Spikes
9) Derrick Brooks
10) LaVar Arrington

That's a pretty good list I think, but I would also target these guys at LB:

Andra Davis, CLE
Jay Foreman, HOU
Eric Barton, NYJ
Anthony Simmons, SEA

These guys are tackle machines with good 2003 stats, so everybody knows about them.

Here are some guys that should vastly improve over last year because of new starter status:

Shelton Quarles, TAM
Mark Simoneau,PHI
E.J. Henderson,MIN (Deep Sleeper)
Lance Briggs,CHI

And I know you just wanted a top 10, but it's very hard to leave these guys out, so...

If you could nab a couple or more of these guys you will have the best linebacking corps in your league...HANDS DOWN!

I don't think Quarles, Peterson, or Brooks are near the top 10 this year. I also don't think Urlacher does that well this year.

I look at it like this:

1. Ray Lewis
2. Jamie Sharper
3. Keith Bulluck
4. Donnie Edwards

5. Zach Thomas
6. Dat Nguyen

7. London Fletcher
8. Cato June

9. Scott Fujita
10. Andra Davis

sexydexy, I think you may be right about Quarles, for one thing he seems to have some injury problems, but when he plays he's pretty awesome.

In any event, I meant to cite Ryan Nece,TAM as a sleeper, not Quarles. (I believe Quarles was already a starter last year).
