hope this isn't off color - but did the cards just reach out and kick emmitt in the nuts :o...the man was on his team & trash talkin' him - sucked - got cut - went to oakland, sucked - got cut...and of ALL people to bring into camp, they drag him right back to where emmitt smith is trying to put together another chance (one i think he should've deferred - but anyway...)
man, emmit's gotta be hating life...

yeah, doesn't lend much credence to DeKnee saying on TV/radio, "Emmitt Smith is our starter, I've always said that..blah blah blah".

[offtopic]This news has already been reported (for discussion) on our Cardinals (and, not as appropriately, on our Raiders) Offseason Report threads. Though you present an interesting "take of your own", prm, regarding the indirect impact of the trade on Emmitt, Hambrick's going to the Cardinals is really not that fantasy-relevant of a news story that deserves a whole thread unto itself.
