Hey, bro!  If you hang out here enough, you know I am a HUGE BJ fan.  Who isn't?  ...  Brad Johnson, that is, you Gridiron gutter minds. [smiley=gettinridden.gif] ... ;) However, he may have a rough week against Washington's solid secondary.  I might actually give Harrington (with all his new and old weapons) a whirl this week.  If there were any week worth gambling on this, this is it!  Just so as to keep it real...  I am benching him in the GBRFL, myself.  Of course, I am doing it in favor of Jake Plummer and Jake Delhomme (two QB system), at least one of whom is probably a "safer bet" than Harrington.  That having been said, all "bets" are off Week 1 as we all know.  Anything can happen the first few weeks of a season.  Good luck, in any case! I work about an hour north of Chicago and listen to ESPN Radio 1000 based out of the Chicago area. I've been hearing a lot about the upcoming season, and assuming I was a Bears' fan, I'd be afraid, very afraid!  [smiley=nervous.gif] Even the homers aren't optimistic, doh! The Bears are looking bad on both sides of the ball and suffered some pretty big injuries on defense to Urlacher, Azumah & McQuarters. They have a new coach, a QB making only his 4th start, no serious threat on offense and they'll be facing their ex-coach in Jauron. Detroit could put up some nice #'s.  [smiley=lickinmychops.gif]

I'd go with Harrington. Good luck.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Slow down on the Bears bashing!!!! They were 7-9 last year with a horrible coach and a lot less talent. They added Thomas Jones (who will fit in great with Terry Shea's offense, which might I remind you made Priest Holmes from an average back into a star), a couple of stud offensive lineman (John Tait and Ruben Brown), the AFC's leading sack man (Wally Ogunleye),  and Tommie Harris (he has star written all over him). What did they lose????? Marty Booker and Warrick Holdman......aka nobody.

All I see are improvements!!!!! 9-7!!!!!! Maybe playoffs.

Don't start Harrington thinking this is an easy game. Charles Tillman will pick off a ball or two the first week and Harrington will find that the sod at Solider Field is hard to pick out of his helmet.

Go with Brad Johnson......don't believe the hype, Bear fans are always thinking negative.

As a neutral observer, go with Harrington.  They've got the better pass offense.  Remember Harrington and Rogers week one last year?
