Title: My only WDIS Question for the Week... Post by Philly on Sep 8th, 2004, 5:02pm Who do I start? Aaron Brooks vs. Seahawks Joey Harrington at Chicago I know that over the course of the season Brooks is probably the better choice, but I know Harrington started off strong last season and he is healthy. Brooks is a little dinged and also facing the tougher of the two defenses. Any thoughts? |

Title: Re: My only WDIS Question for the Week... Post by captainpurple on Sep 8th, 2004, 5:08pm I don't see Harrington fairing well vs a Chicago D that will be better than last year, and may suprise. I think SEA vs NO will be a shootout, I'd go with Brooks. |

Don't take too much heart in the fact that someone recommended benching a Detroit QB. The Bears are still finishing in the cellar of the Norris this year. [smiley=viking.gif] - 10-6 [smiley=spank.gif] - 9-7 [smiley=lion.gif] - 7-9 [smiley=cantcatch.gif] - 6-10 GO VIKES! p.s. Welcome to the GirdIron! ;) |

Title: Re: My only WDIS Question for the Week... Post by KillerKingSting on Sep 9th, 2004, 9:47am Brooks is playing at home and speed will decide that game on turf. Also, Brooks will give you SOME rushing yardage and Harrington will not. But maybe Bullwinkle (Sameold) has a point in that chicago is starting over, new coach, injured Azumah (starting CB last year), will Urlacher play/healthy?, new DLine,...........lots of question w/ the Bears team right now and prime oppurtunity for Harrington to take advantage. |

Rather, I just display my thoughts and rationales in hopes that it might help you make a better decision BUT,, for you Philster! I will come clean ands solid for yah and say that (also BEEfore my decision is given ....lalala.....remember that SEATTLE is terrible away from home!!!!...lalalalala) Take a chance, play Harrington! |

Title: Re: My only WDIS Question for the Week... Post by Philly on Sep 13th, 2004, 6:35am Thanks for all the help, guys... I ended up going with Brooks and he was (marginally) better than Harrington - though neither was very good. I have a 30-point deficit to overcome tonite in my money league. I still have the Carolina D and Steve Smith going, but my opponent has Mushy, so the outlook doesn't look good. |
