Title: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 1 Post by StegRock on Sep 14th, 2004, 6:36pm Here is another one of our fun participatory threads here in "the Red Zone" (to go along with our "Red Zone PRIMED Players for the Week"). It is called "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week". Here, you are to list your key player(s) for the week, the one or ones that were key to your victory(ies). I really think we can have some fun with this! [smiley=dancin.gif] You can expect this to be up every Monday/Tuesday from here on out! |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 1 Post by StegRock on Sep 15th, 2004, 12:06pm I had a great overall team effort in the GBRFL this week and went 2 - 0. BUT, truth be said, Priest Holmes was the torch bearer and gets my game ball [smiley=footballsmiley.gif] all to himself this week. Honorable mention goes to "The Two Jakes" I have at quarterback, Brian Westbrook and Steve Smith :'( who probably would've ended up having a great game, still had an okay game, and may now be done for me for at least most of the rest of the season. |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 1 Post by KillerKingSting on Sep 15th, 2004, 9:22pm I had a great week! winning my game 423.65 to 287.70. On offense : C-Pep = 39.85. Shaun = 44.40. LT2 = 25.70. Chad J. = 25.40. A.Gates = 32.45. My PKs sucked it up though and only scored a total of 4 points (we start 2). Can't win in the Insane League without a great defense and inparticularly my lBs really turned up the heat (remember LBs are to the defense as what RBs are to the offense). N.Barnett = 31.20. Julian Peterson = 43.00. Urlacher = 25.00. Andra Davis = 16.40. One of my last picks in our supplemental draft I took Donivin Darius-DB-Jax and he put up 27.00 points for me!!!!! Last but not least my defensive line was tied for the most points this week. My game ball on offense = Gates = although others scored more and are worthy of this ball it was Gates that surprised me and had over a 100 yards receiving. All this after I traded away Tony Gonzalez to JoJo Jiffy Puff boy. My game ball on defense = Julian Peterson scoring nearly all of his FF points (43) in the first half. I am excited as all get out because last season I weas last in scoring and I've worked diligently to upgrade my team in this past offseason. I hope to keep it up! |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 1 Post by Walker Boh on Sep 15th, 2004, 9:40pm This week's game [smiley=footballsmiley.gif] goes out to Tiki Barber. His 125 yards rushing, 75 yards receiveing and TD were very encouraging for the Mile High Madness in the GBRFL2. Keep it up Tiki! [smiley=thumbsup.gif] |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 1 Post by bgsgfan on Sep 17th, 2004, 12:32am Curtis Martin was a pleasant surprise in one league, and helped me to a close victory as other players struggled. The Pittsburgh defense did better than even I expected and should help me in the CBFL and GBRFL2 (although probably not enough in the latter). Domanick Davis did well in a losing effort for my Muldering Foxes of the Giants of the Gridiron. |
