Title: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 2
Post by StegRock on Sep 21st, 2004, 12:21pm
Here is another one of our fun participatory threads here in "the Red Zone" (to go along with our "Red Zone PRIMED Players for the Week").  It is called "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week".  Here, you are to list your key player(s) for the week, the one or ones that were key to your victory(ies).  I really think we can have some fun with this! [smiley=dancin.gif] You can expect this to be up every Monday/Tuesday from here on out!

[smiley=flipoffangrily.gif] Aaron Brooks and Seattle D - they were responsible for my loss this week. Talk about bad luck I am 0-2 in my money league. I have the third highest point total but I  have played the high point scorer both weeks   [smiley=downthetubes.gif]

Money League:  Aaron Brooks/Edgerrin James/Seattle D
All had about 26 points to give me the highest score for the week and help me recover from a bizarre week one loss.

GBRFL2: Peyton Manning
Looks like my 2-0 record is in jeopardy with the week 2 output.

CBFL: Corey Dillon/Hines Ward
Outstanding week in the CBFL... can't wait to see the results!

GotG: Donovan McNabb
Yet another loss (to the only team in the league who has scored less points to me).  I'm learning a nice lesson about IDP.  Plus the Thomas Jones/Justin McCareins - Charles Rogers/Moe Williams trade didn't exactly work out for me.

This week's game [smiley=footballsmiley.gif] goes out to Hines Ward. His 6 catches for 151 yards and a TD lead the Rotten Apples of the Giants of the Gridiron to victory. Thanks Hines!

I think I have to go with Curtis Martin.  His performance this year has been phenomenal surprise.

On offense I have to give it to VICK since he helped my dynamic dou of QBs to score aprox 69 points!!!
100 yards rushing for a QB is nothing to take for granted!

On Defense once again, my LB position was awesome as it accumulated 69 plus tackles (as compared to 29 last week!)!!!

3 of 4 of my backers racked up 28 points each. But if ONE were to get the nod, I'd have to give it to Marcus Washington-LB-Skins cuz, I replaced him this week w/ allpro LB Urlacher and that coaching move payed dividends as he outscored the great URLbacker..

As I just split this week (1 - 1) in the GBRFL, I will (half-heartedly) give out just one game ball (moreover, because I really did not have any standouts) to Jamal Lewis who had a pair of touchdowns. [smiley=footballsmiley.gif]
