ELI manning BOLTS to the Giants because he didn't think the Charger's organization was "QB" friendly enough as well as BEEing a competitive team.

But now after Brees threw for 5 TDs with an 88% completion rate last week, its obvious that perhaps he and his father, Archie Manning underestimated that situation.

Not that Eli would BEE starting in place of Brees had he wnet to San Diego BUT, maybe he would have?

I mean, Rivers chose to hold out for a while till he got his contract straight. Whereas MAYBE Eli would've been in camp early and won the starting job in lue of Brees, who almost didn't keep the starting status ealry in the seasoning.

Was Eli & Archie WRONG about their analysis regarding the Charger's offensive potential?

I addressed this issue briefly in my latest edition of Directions on the Fantasy Articles page (it isn't posted yet).

How silly does the Charger brass look now?  They really have to be careful with how they resolve this in the off-season, especially if the Chargers make the playoffs with Brees at the helm.

Can you imagine if they had drafted Roy Williams or Larry Fitzgerald instead?  Or even a stud tackle like Gallery?

Oh, by the way... GREAT THREAD TITLE!   [smiley=chicken.gif]
