Title: check my thinking...
Post by prm on Nov 11th, 2004, 7:42pm
i'm playing green this week instead of brooks - because the guy i'm playing has gonzo...i'm thinking about picking up (have the high bid so far) blaylock & playing him with deuce (and sitting - gulp - jamal) because kc/no is gonna be a scorefest...what do you guys think?? thanks,
prm...

Trent Green over Aaron Brooks is almost a no-brainer right now.

Playing Blaylock and over Lewis is ballsy, but wrong. The Ravens will run Lewis more, ala Seattle and Alexander. I also think Larry johnson will see enough action to limit Blaylock's stats.

I think bgsgfan said it exactly right.  Remember that Blaylock is still somewhat hampered with a sore thigh, although he will start.  Larry Johnson got some work last week and will take some of the carries this week too.

Bingo. bgsgfan and Philly are correct. I'd never sit a stud like Jamal for an dinged up 2nd stringer.

Lewis faces a somewhat tougher run D, but he has proven to be able to post 80+TD vs good run Ds.  Stick with him.  KC probably gets up by 2 TDs vs NO and sits Blaylock in favor of Johnson by mid-3rd qtr.
