With Eli Manning named the starter, does it make sense to pick up Toomer and Hilliard? Why didn't Warner throw to these guys? Gotta believe Manning will, right?

I guess... But, how much more successfully? Toomer should already be on a roster and should, as usual, be considered a weak #2. Hilliard is and will always be a fringe player, who will always either be just worth a roster spot or a free-agent to consider in a pinch. I believe none of that has changed, certainly not yet, with Manning now at the helm.

I concur with StegRock. How much better are they going to be? Eli did not have the best reviews in the preseason. He will be a good QB, but I am not convinced that will happen this year. There are probably better options than Hilliard out there.
