Title: portis, jjones, or davis?

What say you?
Edge is my no. 1.

1 pt/yd & 50 pts/td

I'm leaning toward portis given his embarrassment of a game last week tho j. jones v. Seattle is a tasty match-up.

Tks.

I would go with J. Jones over Portis  :o.

I would go with Dom Davis.  Jones had one big game against a banged up run defense so I'm not ready to jump on his band wagon yet.  And Portis has struggled all year in Washington.

I am with Chumpzilla on this one.  J. Jones did not look as stellar in his first start as he did last week.  Jones has not proven him self yet.  He could explode again, but I think Domanick Davis is a safer bet.  He does not have a lot of yards per carry, but he gets a decent number of carries and a decent number of receptions.  Dom Davis is a solid back.  Portis has been perplexing this year.

Go with Davis.

Portis will not be that effective vs the Giants.

Jones has had one good week, but is playing Seattle.

Davis had a great week last week as well, but the Jets run defense is a bit better than Seattle.

I think I'd chance it and go with Jones myself.

I'd actually give Portis a shot this week.  He's been shut down by the Eagles and Steelers in consecutive weeks and he had 98 total yards and a TD against the Giants in week 2 (when they were playing well and still had a couple starting DEs that are out now).  He's healthy and is ready to bust out.  The Skins played the Eagles well (for three quarters) and hung tough against the Steelers, so they should be able to get a lead on the Giants and then run the ball down their throats.

If you don't feel ballsy enough to give Portis a shot, then DDavis would be my next choice.

to add a little more confusion to the mix, I also would go with  portis.  Eli against the Washington D?  that shoudl be pretty humorous.  I think that Portis is going to be running the ball all day once Washington starts putting the hurt on Eli and the G-men.

I agree that they will try to run Portis all day and that Eli will struggle against the Skins.  The only problem is that has not helped Portis so far this year.  Eventhough the Skins have tried to focus on Portis, he has been inconsistent.  Portis' good game are very few and far between.  Then again, he maybe Portis is due.   I would still go with Davis.

tks, all. Went with the majority(I think). took no chances and ran Davis out there. Didn't matter. McNabb is my QB. Oooooh, baby. Won the division and a bye in the p-offs.
