Post by kec6906 on Dec 8th, 2004, 10:52pm
playoff, playoffs, playoffs - what to do?  i know theres alot here but whatever advice you give is cool.  thanks

scoring - td= 4 pts, 25 yds pass = 1 pt  [need 1]
L1) Griese @ SD
          Pennington @ PIT
          Bledsoe vs CLE

scoring - td = 6 pts, 10 yds = 1 pt  [need 2]
L2a) Rod Smith vs MIA
          Jimmy Smith vs CHI
          Bennett vs KC
          Chambers @ DEN

L2b) BUF vs CLE   or    NE vs CIN

scoring - longer tds = more pts, longer fg's = more pts, sacks/ints/fumrec = 5 pts

L3a) BUF vs  CLE    or   BAL vs  NYG
L3b) Freeney @ HOU   or   Peppers  vs  STL
L3c) Josh Brown @ MIN   or  Wilkins  @  CAR
L3d) Hasselback @ MIN
                Bledsoe vs CLE
                Testy vs NO
                Harrington @ GB

thanks for the advice.  KC   [smiley=eagle.gif] [smiley=eagle.gif]

L1)  I like Bledsoe a lot at home vs a bad CLE D.   The Bills O is clicking bigtime right now.

L2a) toss up really.  might try the hot hands of Bennett and Chambers.   MIA & CHI Ds are good at home, so sit the Smiths.

L2b) CLE is just abysmal right now.  BUF D should get some nice pts, even if they do allow 17.  CIN is still dangerous with Rudi and CJ

L3a) see L2b
L3b) STL is banged up on the Oline, but I cant' see sitting Freeney vs. that young oLine of HOU.  Go with Freeney
L3c) Brown.   Minnesota has decided to just let everyone score on their first play of each possession so the offense can get back on the field.  saves time.  ::)
L3d)  toss up with Bledsoe and Hass, but I think I'd go Hass.  Minny is softer than Roseanne Barr's belly vs. the run.  Zander should have a great game.

Good Luck!

scoring - td= 4 pts, 25 yds pass = 1 pt  [need 1]
L1) Griese @ SD
          Pennington @ PIT
          Bledsoe vs CLE
I like Drew here vs a very weakened Brown defense. Bledsoe has been very good the last few weeks.

scoring - td = 6 pts, 10 yds = 1 pt  [need 2]
L2a) Rod Smith vs MIA
          Jimmy Smith vs CHI
          Bennett vs KC
          Chambers @ DEN
Go with the Smiths. Both should score this week.

L2b) BUF vs CLE   or    NE vs CIN

scoring - longer tds = more pts, longer fg's = more pts, sacks/ints/fumrec = 5 pts
Bufflalo is playing vs. a rookie QB, go w/ the Bills.
L3a) BUF vs  CLE    or   BAL vs  NYG Baltimore is a bit of a better option here
L3b) Freeney @ HOU   or   Peppers  vs  STLFreeney
L3c) Josh Brown @ MIN   or  Wilkins  @  CAR Brown
L3d) Hasselback @ MIN
                Bledsoe vs CLE
                Testy vs NO
                Harrington @ GB

Bledsoe, for my reasoning above.

Tough choices, I hope they all work out for you KC. [smiley=fingerscrossed.gif]

I always have advice to give, although I'm not sure how valuable it is.   ;D

L1    Bledsoe vs. Cleveland.
L2     I'd go with Rod and Jimmy Smith
L2b    I'm an NE homer and I'd go with Buffalo's D.   NE's D is great, but although I think the pats will win, I also am starting CJ this week.
L3a    Balt. D
L3b     Peppers
L3c    Brown
L3d   Hasselbeck.  I think Antoine winfield is out, but I could be wrong.

hope that helps you .  Good luck!

God damn!  This looks like a fuckin' logic problem from my Symbollic Logic class... :P

L1) Griese has a slight edge over Bledsoe, who would be a fine play as well.  I discuss my take on Griese this week here:
http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=55;action=display;num=1102566358.

L2a) I'd go with Drew Bennett against KC on Monday night.  Big stage.  He has a statement to make.  I am leary about all Broncos this week as per my FF-specific team report:
http://www.ffpro.com/teamreports/broncos/broncos-footballinfoframes.htm.

L2b) Buffalo, decision based sheerly on matchup.

L3a) Buffalo, ditto.

L3c) Coin toss... [smiley=twocents.gif] Drum roll... [smiley=drummer.gif] ... Wilkins!

L3d) Hasselbeck, far and away of that group with the possible exception of Bledsoe, but I'd put him fairly significantly over him this week.

Good luck, dude!
