Title: Re: Who to start at QB and RB? Post by Chumpzilla on Dec 9th, 2004, 4:33am Even though Collins has been red hot I would go with Hasselbeck at QB. The Minnesota defense has been less than stellar. At RB, I would start Wesbrook and McAllister. Westbrook gets a lot of different looks in an effort to get him the ball. I would take McAllister over Pittman because TB could get down early and could spend the remainder of the day passing the ball (although Pittman does catch balls). |

I like Hass at QB. Like Chumpzilla said, Minny's D can give up yards. I like all 3 of the RB choices. Pittman has been red hot. Duece will bounce back this week. Westbrook sees alot of touches. You can't go wrong with any combo, but if it were me, I'd choose Westbrook and Pittman. |

Title: Re: Who to start at QB and RB? Post by kec6906 on Dec 9th, 2004, 6:45pm i like Westbrook & Pittman for RB. i think DAL is going to be fired up the rest of the way - JJ looks good and their def isnt that bad - plus NO just sucks, not good for Duece. DAL also can still make the playoffs. slightly leaning towards Hass but Collins wouldnt be a bad choice (Collins has been decent lately and he's at home - although he did lose Curry). i have Hass myself and am actually leaning towards Testy at home instead of Hass on the road. Good Luck. KC [smiley=eagle.gif] [smiley=eagle.gif] |

Sir, you are much to kind! ;) I agree, Hass vs Minny. Westbrook is way to hot with McNabb to sit, no matter what the numbers say. Other RB is a tough call. SD has a great run D, allowing only 79yds/gm but has allowed 14 rushing TDs! How does that happen? Dallas run D is almost as good, and has allowed less TDs. In the end, I think NO's lack of D gives Dallas a lead and forces NO to pass, leaving Deuce with 50-60 and maybe a TD. I'd go with Pittman, who's receiving chances help him vs. SD. Good Luck! |

Title: Re: Who to start at QB and RB? Post by lumber2121 on Dec 10th, 2004, 12:11pm Hasslebeck vs. the Vikes Pittman is listed as probable. Any injury can slow a guy down. Duece and Westbrook have been banged up in the past. This week it is Pittman. Go with Duece and Westbrook. |

Title: Re: Who to start at QB and RB? Post by StegRock on Dec 11th, 2004, 4:00pm You have some great choices all over the place here, f04. At RB, McAllister and Westbrook, for sure. Westbrook is just too mult-dimensional to be worried about Washington's defense. At QB, all of your choices are great. In order, I'd go with Hasselbeck, Griese and then Collins. Griese over Collins just because of the old cycles factor. Griese is due for some large numbers this week and while San Diego's rush defense is solid, they can be had through the air. Collins has a great matchup, as well, though. Good luck! You may not need it, though. ;) |
