Title: Coles or Burleson Post by lumber2121 on Dec 22nd, 2004, 8:04am Burleson is at Green Bay Coles is at Dallas Who should I start alongside C. Johnson? I am leaning towards Coles. He has to get in the endzone one of these weeks, right? An added twist: Lee Evans is available in my league and is going against the 49ers. Should I pick him up and start him instead? |

Title: Re: Coles or Burleson Post by Philly on Dec 22nd, 2004, 9:52am This is a toughie. Coles should do well against the Cowboys. Rod Gardner had a HUGE game against them last time (when Coles wasn't completely healthy and Brunell was still "mis"leading the team). I also think that Lee Evans could be a nice sleeper pick this week. He could beat the Niners deep more than once. However, I'd have to go with Burleson this week. The guy is on a nice roll and you know that GB only has one legit CB (Al Harris) and he will be on Moss all day. The other GB CBs are rooks (Batman Carroll and Joey Thomas) and they will be hard-pressed to slow Burleson down on the turf of the Metrodome. |

Title: Re: Coles or Burleson Post by StegRock on Dec 22nd, 2004, 11:07pm I'm going to second Philster on this one. I like all three of the options you mentioned fairly similarly. But, Burleson edges the other two out for the reasons Phil states. |
