I need to select two of the following backs for this week (most yardage/TD's).

Edgerrin James - Would usually be a must start but his playing time may be limited today.

Rudi Johnson - Is there any chance the Bengals play Perry to see what they have in him since this game is meaningless?

Michael Pittman - Any chance Pittman sits so some of TB's younger players gat a look?

Thoughts?

Chris Perry won't play -- he is injured, so Rudi should get plenty of carries and the Eagles defense gave up a lot of rushing yards last week to the Rams.

I'd also go with Pittman because Edge will lose a lot of carries to Rhodes and Mungro this week.

Now, if I may, to keep thread proliferation at a minimum here, hijack your thread and ask a question in a similar vein... Does anybody know if Kevin Faulk is playing today? He is listed as questionable (but so is Patrick Pass and I am guessing they'll want to shelve Dillon this week).

Steg, Faulk is still questionable and is said to be unlikely to play. Since Patrick Pass is also questionable, it looks like Cedric Cobb could be the guy for the Patriots this week.

I'll tell you, these coaches are unbelievable! [smiley=fumin.gif] I watched ESPN's pre-game this morning and it was reported that Manning, James, etc... would play for the first half. James was expected to get extended playing time to ensure the winning of the rushing title. So I decide to start Manning in the GBRFL2 thinking that his 1/2 game numbers should be better than a lot of starters full game #'s. I also started Harrison (didn't have a better option). Fortunately, I went with the safe bet and started Rudi Johnson over Edge. Starting Edge would have been a disaster!!!! [smiley=downthetubes.gif]

Anyway, just thought I'd vent a little!!!! ;D

Get this... Of a litany of scab RB's I go after this week to fill in as my #3 RB ahead of Travis Minor in the GBRFL, I get Dorsey Levens. What the f...? ?.?.? Talk about "resting and protecting your 'studs'". Isn't that taking it a little too far, Andy? ... It's all good, though (to see what I mean, drop on by the GBRFL league board (http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=53) and check out the "'04 GBRFL Champions" thread). :D
