Title: Trade offer Post by nimzo on Aug 18th, 2005, 11:57am I have received another trade offer that I think I have to accept. Again, it's a 12 team league and I have the 3rd overall pick. The guy with the 8th overall pick has offered me his #1 and #2 for my #1 and #4. I would appreciate your thoughts on this, as well as if you think I should draft 3 straight rbs or take 2 rbs and then a wide receiver? Thanks! |

Nope. being a 12 team league, you don't have to take it. I am the same person who said take the earlier deal. But to be honest, after thinking about it, if passing TDs are worth 6 points, I would stay. If Manning happens to be drafted #1 or #2, then I would consider moving down........ Obviously Peyton is worth a lot in your league. TWO guys have offered something for it. Doesn't that make you think maybe you should stay???? |

Title: Re: Trade offer Post by nimzo on Aug 18th, 2005, 5:06pm Thanks for your input Dirk. The guy backed out on his offer anyway. By the way our league gives 4 points for a passing td. I still have the original offer on the table from the 7th rnd guy. If I don't trade down, I think I'm gonna take a risk on Holmes and try to pick up Larry Johnson as insurance. Rbs fly off the board fast in our league and I just can't see Manning even being close to matching his numbers from last season. |
