Title: WHICH RB TO START Post by GOLF_FREAK on Sep 15th, 2005, 7:44am I am in a league with the usual point values except that we also get 1 point for every reception. I have Curtis Martin going up against Miami or Lamont Jordan going up against Kansas City. Who would you start? |

Title: Re: WHICH RB TO START Post by steelkings on Sep 15th, 2005, 7:58am Its the Raiders home opener. Each team should score in the 40's. Last week the Raiders threw to Jordan 5 time for 40 yrds. You can count on that to double this week. Curtis Martin = [smiley=parachute.gif] |

Title: Re: WHICH RB TO START Post by StegRock on Sep 15th, 2005, 4:00pm While I TOTALLY disagree with this proclamation... on 09/15/05 at 07:58:10, steelkings wrote:
... (Martin historically is (in)famous for getting out the gate slowly), I agree that the safer bet here is Jordan. Miami's run defense is just too tough. Incidentally, I kind of feel the opposite of the way soso feels. I think Martin will have another modest day, though he made see pay-dirt once this week, and I think the Jets will get the win. Title: Re: WHICH RB TO START Post by prm on Sep 15th, 2005, 10:26pm jordon's past master didn't fare well against kc ( & jordon didn't do that well either) - i'm hopin, despite moss's presence, that collins will be on a down in his up & down pattern...more to prove for nyj...i like boomer's favorite martin...but i'm an emotional guy sometimes - i need for oakland to tank this week or i'm a dead man...good luck... |
