Injuries won't derail Broncos' Anderson, Bailey (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2163841&CMP=OTC-DT9705204233) ESPN: NFL (16.09.2005 21:43) Injuries won't derail Broncos' Anderson, Bailey by Associated PressDENVER -- Mike Anderson ran without pain Friday, showing little indication he had sore ribs as the Denver Broncos tuned up for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers. "He had a lot of reps in practice today and looked pr... |

Title: Re: Broncos In-season Report Post by StegRock on Dec 26th, 2005, 5:00pm TWO injuries to report about here, both KEY, one on O; the other on D... The Broncos were planning on resting many dudes next week, but these injuries could have a playoff impact and if your fantasy season extends into the post-season (like in the GBRFLeagues), it could affect you (and, in any event, we do have out post-season tourney in the works; here's a link to last year's admin thread for that: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=56;action=display;num=1104902596 [smiley=wiseguy.gif]). From "The REAL Feed": Denver's Anderson hurts ankle (http://www.sportsnetwork.com/default.asp?c=sportsnetwork&page=nfl/news/ABN3995577.htm) The Sports Network: NFL (26.12.2005 10:27) From via "the Gridiron Newsstand": "Broncos' Wilson to have surgery, return for playoffs (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2271478)" |

Title: Re: Broncos In-season Report Post by StegRock on Dec 29th, 2005, 4:20pm Well, it's official... Anderson is OUT! From "The REAL Feed": Denver's Anderson out with ankle injury (http://www.sportsnetwork.com/default.asp?c=sportsnetwork&page=nfl/news/ABN3995995.htm) The Sports Network: NFL (29.12.2005 09:19) With nothing to play for, I'm sure the Broncos will want to protect Tatum Bell as well. So, get Ron [smiley=spchef.gif] Dayne, a sneaky-GREAT play this week, in your Week 17 fantasy lineup! |

Title: Re: Broncos In-season Report Post by StegRock on Feb 11th, 2006, 3:15pm Worth posting in light of ALL the "T.O. to Denver" hype... From "The REAL Feed": T.O. in Denver? Not if it were up to Elway (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2326933&campaign=rss&source=NFLHeadlines) ESPN: NFL (11.02.2006 11:40) While Mike Shanahan continues to entertain the thought of adding wide receiver Terrell Owens to the Denver offense, the greatest Bronco of them all has spoken out against T.O. I don't think T.O.'s coming to Denver is as given as most seem to think... Personally, though this direction of speculation has quieted down, I think he ends up in Atlanta somehow (with Vick throwing, nay, heaving it up to him Culpepper-to-Moss style just as per that NFL video game ad from the year before last)... Title: Re: Broncos In-season Report Post by steelkings on Feb 11th, 2006, 4:26pm I think T.O ends up ultimatly in New England. Bellycheck likes those Cory Dillon types! They arent going to retain Brown, Givens and dwight. Think about Tom Brady with T.O on one side and Branch on the other. |

Well, live from the Pro Bowl pregame show we just heard another Broncos alum, Tom Jackson, STRONGLY state his case against T.O.('s, reading between the lines, coming to Denver). That's four now who have spoken out: John, Shannon, Terrell and now Tom. ... Current player, Champ Bailey, however, said fairly unequivocally that he'd like to have him aboard. He's a pup, though, lacking the wisdom of the aforementioned. |

Title: Re: Broncos In-season Report Post by steelkings on Feb 13th, 2006, 8:50am The hit in the 4th quarter of the pro bowl on Rod Smith was totally unnecessary. Any word on his condition? |
