ok so here is my team right now:

QB- Carr, Pennington
RB- McAllister, Bennett, Benson, Toefield
WR- R. Moss, A. Johnson, L. Evans, T. Taylor
TE- Shockey, A. Smith
K- Janikowski, Hanson
D- Bucs, Cincy

So this is the deal. As you can see, I am weak at RB (and QB but I can deal with Pennington for now). This is a 14 team league so having two solid starting rb's is a great advantage. I have a trade offer that is Randy Moss and Michael Bennett for Clinton Portis and Muhsin Muhammad. This will give me 2 top tier running backs but I wonder if its worth it because I think we've only seen the tip of the iceberg with Moss this year (special note- touchdowns of 50+ yards are 12 points in this league-and i think Moss will be having a couple more of those)

Also, there was another trade that I had offered, some guy in my league loves Shockey and for some reason doesn't think much of Crumpler. I offered him Shockey, Bennett or Benson, and Moss for Caddy, C. Johnson and Crumpler. I don't think he'll accept it but if he accepts which trade do you think I should take. thanks guys.

Given the structure of your roster, you're pretty good at RB. Benson will come along. On the other hand, your receivers are weak. Replace Moss with Muhammad and perish. Do NOT do that first deal!!!

Now, as for that second deal, DO IT NOW, ESPECIALLY if you can do it with Bennett instead of Benson. C. Johnson is a decent replacement for Moss and you get the bump up from Shockey to Crumpler. If it has to be Benson, I'd still do it. But, there will come a time later in the season when I think you will regret it.

Steg is right on target. If you are going to trade Moss, you need to get a more solid receiver than Muhammad in return. Muhammad is a good reciever, but I am not sold on the Chicago offense.

On the other hand, if you can get Chad Johnson, Crumpler and Cadillac Williams I would absolutely, positively do that. Hopefully, the other owner's love for Shockey will entice him to pull the trigger.

Again, if you are going to trade Moss, you need to get something more like the latter offer than the former offer. Remember that you are at an advantage because you have Moss and everyone else does not. To an extent, you are in control.

Yup, deal 1 sucks, deal 2 rocks.

deal 2 gives you 2 stars for Moss, and a slight bump at TE as well. I like that .
