Title: Titans In-Season Report
Post by Callie on Sep 25th, 2005, 3:29pm
WRG 550 sports radio is reporting that Travis Henry will be suspended for 4 games due to violation of the substance abuse policy.

Keep an eye on this in case they're right!

(Started a new thread because I couldn't find an old Titan in-season thread.

News currently from atop "The REAL Feed":

Son of late Walter Payton activated for first NFL game (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/football/nfl/wires/10/02/2020.ap.fbn.titans.payton.0169/index.html)
SI.com: NFL (02.10.2005 12:13)

This might just be worth duly noting and tucking away for future reference.  I, for one, as many of you know, think this guy, if given a chance, might just make it in the NFL, his mediocre-to-disappointing college career notwithstanding.

This article's title says that Volek WILL start this week, later in the article Fisher is quoted as saying that McNair is feeling much better and he's not ruled out.  Coach speak?

http://www.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051021/SPORTS01/51021008/1027

What IS it with these coaches?  Arizona doesn't want to reveal if they will start Warner or McCown this week either.  What's next, depth charts released in secret code right after the coin toss?  [smiley=protest.gif]
