Title: An offer sent. Contemplating S.O.S. Steg

Well I got another trade offer.

Torry Holt/Steven Jackson  FOR Terrell Owens. Is this a smart deal to do.

My current team is:

Donovan McNabb
Terrell Owens
Laverneus Coles
Anquan Boldin
Donte Stallworth
Reggie Wayne

Rudi Johnson
Brandon Jacobs
Ron Dayne
Mewelde Moore
Larry Johnson

Antonio Gates
J. Kasay

He traded McGahee away earlier so I ended up not getting him unfortunately.

can't help commenting on these ram players. [smiley=ram.gif]

i would be tempted to trade pretty much straight up holt for owens.  torry has 23 more yards and 1 less td.
i could be biased though.

i like the trade talent wise, but i would be hesitant about two starters from the rams in your lineup.  bye week and the week they get shut down.

talent wise i think it is a go.  good luck with your decision.

Looks Fair
I agree with rick about having the two Rams together ...but it looks as if you need another RB...Holt IS a drop off from Owens...but not that much!! Didn't Jackson get injured last night...if so check on that situation.

Think I'd do it jabenus

I'd say do it.

You are lookn pretty good on receivers, and like others agree, he's not that much lower than Owens.

On the other hand, you NEED another RB.  Yea, he did get hurt this week, but he went back in the game at the end.  He will get the rock next week.

I think that having both the #1 RB and #1 WR from the same team is a great combo.  If they get behind early, they go to the pass.  If they are ahead early, they go to the run.  Especially coming from the best show on turf.

Do it  ;D

Go for it.  Owens is very good but you are getting two quality starters, thus spreading you injury risk.

Yes, do it!

[offtopic]jabenus, I will be more inclined to respond in a more thorough and timely manner if you could PLEASE consolidate your (weekly) trade-help threads, at least.  Just PLEASE start one per week or something like that and let it roll.  You actually could just have ONE "jabenus '05 trades" thread.  We are looking here to dissuade thread proliferation, which, if not stemmed, can lead to stuff flying off page one, which sucks.  Also, having multiple threads for similar topics, trades no less, makes the discussion, quite literally, "all over the place", rather than developed and flowing and, ultimately, more productive, intelligent and insightful.  Thank you for your anticipated understanding and future cooperation.
