wellllll due to chad pennington being out for the year i need to pick up another quarterback. due to the fact that my other qb is david carr this pick up may get thrown into the starting lineup right away so basically i need someone who can produce now. my options are as follows:

Trent Dilfer
Mark Brunell
JP Losman/Kelly Holcomb
Kyle Orton
Jay Fiedler

Obviously my best bets are Dilfer and Brunell here. I'm leaning towards Dilfer but lemme know what you guys think. thanks

hell, i'd drop carr & get dilfer and brunell...might as well have the best of the rest...good luck...

I am one of those fools who constantly thinks that Carr is going to step up and produce. So far, I have not been right. This said, I would pick up Brunell right now. If Dilfer and Carr keep going their respective ways, you may want to pick up Dilfer next week.

got to find a starter for week 4 - Brunell. maybe this gives you a week to decide between Carr and Dilfer for the future.

Give Carr 2 more weeks
New Offensive coordinator says he will be throwing downfield [smiley=hellyeafunny.gif] and dumping the conservative playbook. Of course he'll have to sneak [smiley=sneaky.gif] that past Coach "Ultra-conservative" Capers!!!! As a Houstonian with some limited media credentials, I have kept an eye out on this and have personally seen Carr throwin' several deep balls these past 2 weeks in practice. As far as needing a QB now...of the list you presented, I'd have to say Dilfer and a prayer. [smiley=pray.gif]

Got to pick up Brunell this week. Dilfer is off. You are stuck between a rock and a hard place with Carr. You (still) can't play him this week against an upsurging Cincy squad, but you also just can't go and drop him (for Dilfer). That may come back to bite you in the end. Good luck! [smiley=shamrock.gif]
