Last week the Texan brass suggested they would make Johnson the focal point of the offence from here on in. [smiley=sperm.gif]


Against the Defencive studs from Cincy he mustered up

Given your roster at this very moment, I would stay put.  Travis Taylor is ultimately the guy to drop for him.  But, with Burleson banged up coupled with the fact that he did have better yardage than Johnson yesterday, he's worth holding on to for at least one more week.

Andre Johnson or Travis Taylor?????? Come on Taylor has a bye this week and Burleson will be back after the bye. Andre Johnson is to good not to turn it on. Plus Taylor didn't even catch a ball in the first half last week and he only caught passes when the Falcons went to a prevent.

No question pick up Johnson..........

Grab him!! I'll tell you what I've told others. I have some limited access to Texans practices  [smiley=secret.gif]and I have seen several plays designed downfield...way downfield for Johnson in the past 2 weeks.  [smiley=yes.gif] These are plays that I have not seen during earlier practices. They are trying to get him the ball on the fly!!  [smiley=flamewar.gif]  The only real problem is the "O" line not giving Carr the time to throw. If...and it is a big if...Carr can get some protection when one of these designed plays are called, you're gonna get your TD's.  [smiley=footballsmiley.gif] Are ya' patient?? If so, this pick up will pay off after some issues get tweeked down here!! [smiley=toocool.gif]

I think you HAVE to grab Andre Johnson.  Drop either Travis Taylor or Lawrence Tynes.  Johnson is too good a player to not pick it up.  He's just had three bad games - he still has 13 left to play and has proven that he can produce in the poor Houston offense.

I like Mushy too, but the issue there is the QB throwing to him.  Orton has been anything but impressive.  You might be smart to dump Taylor and Tynes and grab both Johnson and Muhammad.

Taylor is looks like a Catholic in church right now.   UP down UP down UP down...as in ON ROSTER off roster ON ROSTER off roster.

He's an excellent sneaky play right now, but you have to pick your spots.  This week isn't good (bye week), and neither is CHI after the bye.   GB, 3 weeks away, may be a good week, but Burleson will be back and if TWill continues his emergence, Taylor may be down to #3.

pick up johnson definitely. he will produce eventually, the problem is I think you should keep Taylor too, he's proved more than anyone (even burleson in the 2 games he played) that he is their number one guy. If possible I would drop Desmond Clark. If not, Drop Tynes. If you can't do that I guess you would be forced to drop Taylor, but still keep your eye on him. No matter what though I think Johnson is due for a big week against that Titans defense. and if not this week, he will break out eventually.

Andre Johnson isn't supposed to put the ball in the end zone for the Texans, Domanick Davis is. In a scoring only league, Andre Johnson is a terrible option.
