I know the Lions O and Joey have been REEEEEAL crappy this season.  So, how much does this cause an increase in Mike Williams's fantasy value?  I realize that this question may just amount to:  is he now worthy of having on a (non-keeper league) fantasy football roster?

I think that ANY Lion has a chance to do better down the road due to their schedule.  The Lions have the toughest part of their schedule on the front end this year and have two more tough games, then the schedule gets easier.  The suspension is for 4 weeks.  Detroit had their bye in Week 3, so that's over.  Williams is currently listed as Rogers' backup.  So for a couple of weeks, probably after the next couple of weeks, who knows.  Depends on your depth at WR and what you get at QB.  I hold off on WRs until they've been around for awhile and show me something.  If you have room on the roster though, it could be a nice risk/reward.

Jeffy looked perty good for being just 70% and with a depleted receiving corps.  He and Mike Williams seemed to really be in rhythm.  Cleveland's defense is not a total slouch.  Garcia's performance today portends good things for the future, me thinks... Yea, this very well spells the (bitter) end to Garcia's career.  ...  Did you hear Millen during the press conference say, "We haven't done a good job of developing our young players..."?  I think that was a direct swipe at the Moochster and Jeffy.  Anyway, what a contrast that is to all the media talk about six weeks ago about Harrington's badly needing a change of scenery.  ...  So, who is the starting QB in Detroit... this week... down the line???  Might we be seeing Matt Leinart throwing to Mike Williams again??? [smiley=hmmmm.gif]  ...  In all sincerity, I REALLY think it is Matt Millen that NEEDS to go!!!

Does Matt Millen actually think that endorsing an already historically legitimized, legendary NFL head coach by saying he'd like to woo him to MoTown somehow legitimizes his tenure as GM? Well, the quarterback carousel continues to spin...  Harrington is back in as starter, which, despite my having Garcia in the GBRFL, I must admit is probably the right thing for them to do in the spirit of "developing their youth".  This is assuming, on the other hand, that it doesn't just cause both them and Harrington to jump back into the quagmire.  Even though I don't think Joey is as bad as he has been with the Lions, they were kind of at a good point to both make a break and move in a new direction with a new quarterback and give him a break and let him try to revitalize his career elsewhere.  A good couple of games here at the "bitter end" of '05 could force them to prolong this (ill-fated) marriage.  From "The REAL Feed":
