Title: who to start? Post by kec6906 on Oct 8th, 2005, 11:48am whats up gang? its been awhile but its time to get back into the groove. i am tied for highest total score in the league and i am 1-3, last place in my division. go figure! L1 scoring: longer the TD = more pts (10 yd td = 8 pts, 50 yd td = 14 pts), Receptions and yardage (20 yds = 1 pt) L1a) need 2 of these WR's to go with Terrell Owens: 1. Kevin Curtis vs SEA (**looks good this week**) 2. Chris Chambers @ BUF 3. Lee Evans vs MIA 4. Braylon Edwards vs CHI 5. Michael Clayton @ NYJ L1b) need 2 RB's (this ? is only if Green is out Sunday) 1. Deuce @ GB 2. Dunn vs NE 3. Davenport vs NO (would u put him in over either one of these guys if Green is out?) L1c) need a defense: 1. Atl vs NE 2. CHI @ CLE QB - Favre, E Manning (bye), McNair RB - Jordan (bye), Suggs IDP - Freeney K - J. Brown ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ L2 scoring: 10 yds = pt, td = 6 pts (basic scoring) L2a) need 5 of these (must have 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex) 1. Steven Jackson vs SEA (** no brainer**) 2. Dunn vs NE 3. Kevin Johnson vs BAL 4. Willie Parker @ SD 5. Chad Johnson @ JAX (**no brainer**) 6. Jimmy Smith vs CIN 7. Lee Evans vs MIA L2b) need a defense: 1. CHI @ CLE 2. BAL @ DET QB - T Green (bye), Leftwich TE - McMichael K - Elam thanks for the advice. KC. Go Eagles!! [smiley=eagle.gif][smiley=eagle.gif] |

Johnson and Smith as WR's and Parker in the Flex in L2a Chicago or Baltimore in L2b..it's a wash!! [smiley=hellhound.gif] Good luck and welcome back to The Gridiron [smiley=hellhound.gif] |

Well done post, kec! [smiley=bow.gif] Well presented, well organized and well consolidated! [smiley=thumbsup.gif] And, like MC said, "[smiley=welcome.gif] back to 'the Gridiron', brother!" Maybe you wouldn't be 1-3 if you never left... ;) The gods of "the Gridiron" didn't likey that. [smiley=nownow.gif] ... ;) ... Now, let me go through this sucker... [smiley=onit.gif] L1a) Chambers and Curtis (in that order, so to speak). L1b) Stick with Deuce and Dunn; leave Davenport on your bench. L1c) Chicago @ Cleveland; I just don't relish ever going up against Brady and crew. L2a) Jackson, Dunn, Johnson, Jimmy and Willie; I think that is fairly obvious, actually. L2b) Baltimore @ Detroit; Detroit is just bad (hidden note on that,... something I don't want to broadcast to my competition here,... I think the QB Dan Orlovsky out of UConn is a sneaky-good pick-up in deep leagues starting this week). [smiley=secret.gif] Good luck, friend! [smiley=stpat.gif] |
