Earlier this week I thought the decision between Jones and Gabriel was simple. McNair was throwing a lot of balls to the TE's and TEN didn't have much of a passing game so I was going to go with the Collins/Gabriel combination. However, with Volek in the mix now, I'm not sure who to start. Thoughts?

Scoring:

.5 pt per catch.
TD's tierd based on distance.
You don't start earning yardage pts until 75 yards.

Buffalo is ranked #1 in passing defense and overall are a much tougher defensive unit than Arizona.

i think Oak runs alot more this week.

i'd go with B Jones

I personally throw rankings out the window here. The Bills have a good pass D,... sure. But, some of that deals with who they've played. This guy Jones is too much of an unknown for my tastes. I say go with Gabriel, who I've seen look reeeeeal good. Good luck! [smiley=shamrock.gif]

just got my email and saw your response Steg.....

i know stats dont always mean what they say but i personally would have still taken a shot with Jones over Gabriel.

and i didnt know this until after gametime but Moss played (43 yds & TD), totals on the others:

Gabriel had 5 catches for 101 yds - no TD's
Jones had 2 catches for 50 yds - 1 TD

i guess it depends on league scoring to see who did better but it looks close either way.

Jones is listed as questionable with a knee injury, and didn't practice today.

Gabriel, primed for another big game against TEN.

I'd go with Gabriel

McNair should start this week. Whether he finishes the game is another issue. You are right, McNair has targeted his TEs and RBs a lot this year.

I made the mistake of discounting Gabriel last week. I am not going to do it again.

Go with Gabriel.
