Title: A trade for the Steelkings?
Post by steelkings on Oct 24th, 2005, 8:05am
6 and 1.....Scoring only !...My roster below.

I want to offer

Carson Palmer or Jake Delhomme
                 AND
Reggie Wayne

FOR

Steve Smith or Terrell Owens
                And
Ben Roeslisburger

Big Ben would become a back up on my squad. My recievers are my weakest link. However. Do you screw with 6 and 1. The team I would trade with is hurting now and maybe not later.

Your thoughts

imo Jake and Carson are really close even though palmer has the better points to date. The panthers will only improve as the year moves along. I probably don't have to remind you that this is a team thats been in the big games and knows how to win (if they stay healthy).

That being said, I think Jake is underrated and Carson, well, maybe not overrated, but who knows, they are a young team. I'm not sure how the other guy is feeling about these QBS and if that can somehow work to your benefit.

Is big ben his starting QB? If hes looking for a qb and is willing to ship Steve Smith or TO I would try and do it. I'm not sure what your personal preference is but I think the bottom line is if you could get Steve Smith out of the deal you have to do it.

Well, max value is Delhomme and Wayne for Roethlisberger and Owens.  If you are an intuitive fantasy footballer, there has to be some part of you that has "concerns" about Delhomme.

Minimum value is Palmer and Wayne for Roethlisberger and Smith, which I'd still do in a heartbeat...  Get my point!

... Good luck! [smiley=shamrock.gif]
