Title: Randy Moss for LJ
Post by tm20 on Nov 8th, 2005, 2:31pm
There is no deal on the table, but the owner of LJ needs WR help (boldin, Djax out) and would probably do some sort of moss deal.

Should I try to get this done or just stay put? My rbs are a big ? mark, though there is some potential, and I like the idea of gambling with LJ. But, I think moss is at an all-time trade low...and I think he could be valuable come later in the season and playoff time. I did get Andre Johnson last week who knows if that means anything....

With that being said, should I do Moss straight up or maybe moss/m. moore...(moss/R. Brown too much?) for LJ before the Chiefs RB situation swings either direction.

Any opinions or other ideas are always welcome...

I would say that LJ is going to be the starter for the remainder of the season.  I still think you are ok in the RB dept.  But LJ is more explosive than any of them.

I would deal him straight up for LJ.  He is a good RB, but there is no way I would deal anymore than Moss alone for LJ.  There are still 8 more games in the season.  And now that T.O. is gone, there really isn't anyone with more capabilities for the big play than Randy.  Yes, even over Chad Johnson.

If you are in a keeper league I would do it even moreso.  LJ is a MUST keep for next year.

Your WR corps is looking pretty solid with branch and galloway.  Kurtis will still be a great #3 through the season even when holt and bruce come back.

I say go for it [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

If you start 3 WRs and give up Moss for an RB and are starting 2 RBs, you could leave yourself a bit lean at WR.

BUT,... if not,... DO IT NOW!!! [smiley=onit.gif]

And, actually, you are at present thin at running back in a way.  Do this deal!  But, then, perhaps try to move one of your other backs for a wideout.  In any event, though, DO THE DEAL!

Good luck! [smiley=shamrock.gif]
