Title: Last starter
Post by tm20 on Nov 11th, 2005, 4:26pm
I'm currently starting:

WR: Moss, Galloway, Branch
RB: Westbrook, Tatum

I've been getting mixed opinions about this...but for my last spot (flex) should I go with KURTIS or RONNIE BROWN

Edit: I know its RB vs WR, but Kurtis has been really solid and should be in for a high scoring matchup w/ Seattle.

Oakland knows what I mean  ;)

Thanks in advance

Without any hesitation, R. Brown.  I am very big on using RB's for flex postions.  Especially one of the calliber of Brown.  Yea, he is sharing carries with Ricky, big deal.  He is still getting good numbers on the field with the split.

Curtis on the other hand, is a decent #3 WR.  But, Holt is now back and Bruce may be coming back this week also.  Like I said, even now that they are back, he is still worth a #3 WR slot.  But no way I would use him as a flex over Brown.

Is that Ronnie or Reggie Brown? I also would go with the RB at the flex if that's who you have [smiley=fireman.gif]

Close call...  A RB and a WR both in similar situations...  Williams is bearing down on Brown and Holt and Bruce come back this week to cut into Curtis's little gig (is there a reason you spell it with a "K"?).  I like Brown a little more this week.  I think they'll run well against New England and there will be enough for both Brown and Williams to have decent-to-good games.  But, with a rusty Bulger throwing the ball for St. Louis and a crowded receiving corps, I don't like Curtis this week.  Good luck!
