Title: Need ALOT of help......
Post by Oakland4life on Nov 12th, 2005, 3:32am
O.k.  I am in a 14 team league so the WW is very slim.  Bryant Johnson is out for this week and I have narrowed it down to two WR to pick up.

Scottie Vines vs. ARI or Ike Hilliard vs. WAS

both to me are about the same.  I'm leaning toward Vines, but am really liking Hilliard simply because he's a vet.

Please help me decide.   [smiley=uh.gif]

i must be out of touch.  did not know hilliard was still playing.  vines still looks to be in the starting lineup ahead of the williams and rogers group.  has had two solid back to back games.  weak matchup against the cardinals.  got to go with vines in my book.  only bad news is harrington on this one.

good luck!

Ike is getting the start for injured Mike Clayton.  And now I guess Charles Rogers and Roy williams will be available this week. So that will cut into Vines playtime.

Any other suggestions?  What about McMullen the now #3 since Owens is suspended?  Or maybe Lee Evans?

/shrug  I am at a loss with Keenan and Horn on a bye, I am starting Gabriel and Moss.  Not looking good at all in the WR dept.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Lee Evans has a GREAT match-up this week!  The Chiefs have a lousey secondary, and Moulds could get the coverage.  Of everyone you have named so far, I would take a flier on Evans.  I know that he hasn't been getting the ball, but he isn't bad for a risk/reward play.  They could go to him for the kind of strike he could get last year.

Of that paltry selection, Evans is the way to go...  After that, I list the rest of that vomit as follows:  Vines, period.  Hilliard, McMullen...  I say break out the darts set... [smiley=laugh.gif] Good luck! [smiley=stpat.gif]

Well, Givens and Pass have been ruled OUT for todays game.

Therefore, I picked up Troy Brown since the Pats have absolutely no running game and Troy will be starting.

Wish me luck, and thanks for all the advice ;D
