Title: Redraft league trade ? Post by kec6906 on Nov 15th, 2005, 4:52pm having a rough season but still hanging on in a not so strong division. i am 5-5 (3rd), 1 game behind 2nd, 3 behind 1st. i play the 2nd place team this week.. she's got a heck of a lineup: QB: Bulger, Carr (start 1) RB: LT, Cadillac, Duckett (start 2) WR: Chad Johnson, Driver, Galloway, Key Johnson (start 3) K: Longwell, Scobee (start 1) IDP: Peppers DEF: CAR (start 1) This is my current roster: QB: Favre, E Manning, Mcnair RB: Dunn, Jordan, Suggs, Henry, Gore, Barber WR: Chambers, Evans, Edwards, Curtis, Finneran, Michael Clayton, TO (**susp**) K: Elam, Bironas IDP: Freeney DEF: ATL, CHI obviously losing TO hurt big time. i also lost McAllister early on in the season. so, i only have 2 true starting RB's, and a so-so WR core. i had written a few weeks ago about trading TO and got mixed reviews but i held on to him (big mistake). anyway, a team in another division wants Dunn or Jordan from me. would u trade Jordan and Curtis (Holt & Bruce back anyway) for F Taylor/ G Jones (combo RB) and one of these WR's - Roy Williams, Rod Smith, Horn. JAX has a decent schedule and i would still have 2 decent starting RB's (Taylor/G Jones & Dunn) and pick up a better WR than what i think i have. plus, i dont think Curtis is going to have much value from now on. would u stick with my roster now or try and do the trade. this is the last week for trades. scoring - longer TD's = more pts, plus pts for # of receptions/rushes and rush/rec yardage thanks for the advice. KC. the Eagles have fallen and they can't get up! Bring back TO, TO, TO |

Title: Re: Redraft league trade ? Post by Oakland4life on Nov 15th, 2005, 5:21pm I would definately do the trade. [smiley=thumbsup.gif] From the looks of the Raiders schedule, they are going to be relying more on the pass game anyway. The last 7 games are against pretty good Defenses. The only break would be from Miami and the Jets. (week 12 & 14) But, as you said, the JAX schedule REALLY lightens up now and the only real defense they face is the Colts and thats in week 14. Roy Williams broke out bigtime this week, so It might be tough to get ahold of him. But if you can, Do it. Rod Smith has a TOUGH schedule (pass D) ahead of him. Joe Horn's schedule looks pretty good the next couple weeks, but will get tougher during the Fantasy Playoffs. Horn might get you in, but may be less productive during the playoffs. But anyway, the Taylor/Jones handcuff is a great deal for Jordan and Curtis w/o the reciever. But if you can steal one, I would rate them as Roy/Joe/ then Rod. Good Luck, 04L |
