Title: Question on Garrard Post by BrianM123 on Dec 10th, 2005, 4:55pm I have Roethlisenburger and Favre and was thinking about picking up Garrard as possibly using for the playoffs since Garrard will play Houston and San Fran. Am I crazy? |

Title: Re: Question on Garrard Post by Chumpzilla on Dec 10th, 2005, 5:56pm No, you are not. As long as you are not dropping a "quality" player. I did the same thing because of his match-ups. Only problem is he may not do much vs Indy this week. Therefore, you won't have a good gauge of what the guy can do. |

Title: Re: Question on Garrard Post by MordecaiCourage on Dec 10th, 2005, 8:33pm I actually think that you ARE crazy!! [smiley=gonecrazy.gif] Surely there has to be someone else available. Enter the playoffs with an unproven like Garrard and you'll be out!! Granted his matchups are ideal...but during those two weeks, those 2 defenses are gonna look pretty good because of Garrard!! Just my opinion ;D |

Title: Re: Question on Garrard Post by StegRock on Dec 11th, 2005, 2:01am I tend to agree with MC here. Playing those bad teams can be sneaky-bad. It's good for running backs, but not at all necessarily for quarterbacks (and receivers), especially considering the return of Taylor. If the Jaguars get ahead big in those games, they'll abandon the pass. Furthermore, San Francisco and Houston's defenses can, at times, be sneaky-good, and they might just end up having sneaky-good performances against a Jaguars offense that isn't super-charged. I would just stand my ground and stick it out with Favre and Roethlisberger. Good luck! [smiley=shammy.gif] |

Title: Re: Question on Garrard Post by BrianM123 on Dec 11th, 2005, 8:51am Thanks for your honesty. I probably will stick with Roethlisberger in the playoffs which starts week 15 and 16. His next two match ups are @ Minnesota and @Cleveland as opposed to Favre who has Baltimore and Chicago. There's no way I will start Favre vs Chicago. |
