Title: HELP PLEASE Post by BrianM123 on Dec 13th, 2005, 9:07pm I need to start a TE this week in the playoffs that will hopefully get me a few pts. My opponent has Antonio Gates ( 18 pts last week). I have been alternating with McMichaels and Heath Miller. It appears Jeremy Stevens is available. Should I start Jeremy Stevens v@ TN McMichael @ NY Jets Heath Miller @ MN Im leaning towards McMichael or Stevens based on the fact that Heath has done nothing the last few games and has to block more. |

Title: Re: HELP PLEASE Post by steelkings on Dec 13th, 2005, 9:41pm Minnesota has a decent set of corners. The Viking linebackers will need to help the d-line stop the run. I think Miller could have a huge game this week. Dont rule him out. |

Title: Re: HELP PLEASE Post by StegRock on Dec 13th, 2005, 10:17pm I agree with sk's analysis. ... They are probably all good plays going into this week. Any one of them can make you or break you. I personally would go with McMichael... then, a close second, Miller, a close third Stevens. Good luck! [smiley=shamrock.gif] And, Brian, I know you've gotten a lot out of "the Gridiron" this year. Title: Re: HELP PLEASE Post by captainpurple on Dec 13th, 2005, 11:09pm Vikings are 3rd worst in the NFL in fantasy pts allowed to TEs, allowing a whopping 80 pts this year. HOWEVER! They haven't allowed a TE score in the last 5 weeks, when Pollard got one. That said, I think they're still vulnerable to the TE and Big Ben loves to look that way in the RZ. In MIA, no one is seeing any looks but Chambers it seems, and the Jets have been solid vs. fantasy TEs this year, allowing only 43 pts. Stevens is a gamble at best. Jurevicius, Engram & Hackett are getting more RZ opps than him, which doesn't bode well. He finally got a TD last week, but one week is too little for me to risk it. I'd go with Miller. Good luck! |

Title: Re: HELP PLEASE Post by Oakland4life on Dec 14th, 2005, 1:12am Well, Im gonna make ya think a little more about your tough decision this week. I actually like Stevens this week. D. Jax is making his comeback this week. Which will make Tenessee's secondary worry about him a lot more. They will be giving him and Jerevicious a little bit more cusion leaving the middle open. I think they will be setting up the defense for Stevens quite a bit. Throw the ball deep a couple times, make the DB's play off a little. Then throw it down the middle for an easy 20 yds. Too easy against a weak Tennessee defense. O4L |
