Title: Re: Need Lineup help for 3rd place trophy Post by Oakland4life on Dec 30th, 2005, 6:45pm Cadillac and Gore are your best options. Taylor will be rested most the game as will Dillon, since both have been injury riddled all year. Wells just got placed on the IR, and Im sure Morency is on the WW. So that may be an option as well. Because the Texans might have their way with the 49ers in the air, and they may be forced to throw the ball. But, out of the RB's you have, I would go with Gore and Caddy. Out of your WR core, Sammie is a good start this week. Im sure you will be pleasantly surprised by his performance on Sunday. Also I would go with Jurevicous and Galloway. Galloway should also have a big game versus the saints at home and Joe should see action the entire game with D. Jax missing practice this week. Good luck, O4L |

Title: Re: Need Lineup help for 3rd place trophy Post by StegRock on Dec 30th, 2005, 7:06pm At RB, O4l is right... [smiley=bullseye.gif] Go with Caddy [smiley=cruisin.gif] and Gore [smiley=zombie.gif]. Unless this is a keeper league and it matters for next year, pass on Jamal. At WR, I beg to differ slightly. I agree with you, rick. Go with Galloway and Moulds, for sure. After that, go with Parker as O4l says. Good luck, friend! [smiley=shamrock.gif] I, personally, love to see the passion this late in the year, moreover, for a third-place trophy. That's showin' genuine love of and for the hobby. |

Title: Re: Need Lineup help for 3rd place trophy Post by Chumpzilla on Dec 30th, 2005, 8:19pm I would still go with Gore before any of the guys you picked up. Where did you see Wells headed to the IR??? He is, or was, a nice option this week. I "may" have started him over Gore as Hicks may steal carries from him. |

Title: Re: Need Lineup help for 3rd place trophy Post by rickgpin on Dec 30th, 2005, 9:51pm As HoustonTexans.com staffer Nick Schenck reported this afternoon, the Texans' depth at running back already was shallow with Domanick Davis on injured reserve. It took another hit today when head coach Dom Capers announced that Jonathan Wells was placed on injured reserve because of a deep thigh bruise. http://www.footballdiehards.com/headlines/news_headlines.cfm |

Title: Re: Need Lineup help for 3rd place trophy Post by StegRock on Dec 30th, 2005, 10:35pm As Chumpman says, Gore remains your best option this week. BUT, Dayne is potentially a real nice pick-up for '06. Good job! [smiley=yes.gif] |
