Tampa Bay QB Simms in critical condition (http://www.charlotte.com/mld/charlotte/sports/football/nfl/carolina_panthers/15599873.htm)
The Charlotte Obeserver (09-24-06)

NFL Network is talking about this, too.  Anyone hearing anything???

Edit:  Now ESPN says the Bucs are denying that Simms is in critical condition.  I hope they are right.

During the Sunday night game here, they just said the report/rumor that he is in "critical" condition is erroneous... according to the team office.  I hope and pray that is the case. [smiley=pray.gif] They say he is just still in the hospital.

Reports seem to be changing fast, Steg.  When I first put up the link, I copied and pasted THEIR headline.  By the time I went back to check the link, the title of their news post had changed.

I don't know what is going on.  But I hope it's the good way.

After Loss, Chris Simms Is Hospitalized (http://www.aolsportsblog.com/2006/09/24/after-loss-chris-simms-is-hospitalized/)
AOL Sports (09-24--6)
UPDATE: Peter King says that Chris Simms had his spleen removed and received a blood transfusion. He's resting comfortably at a Tampa hospital and he should not be "in any danger."

Edit:  And he finished the game with a ruptured spleen!

Hadn't seen that one, Dog.  Thanks!

I hope they take Tui.  Chucky has seen him enough.  Maybe he has an idea.  I hope so, because I've always hoped that Tui would get a chance on a team where he can finally get a break.

Simms is one tough SOB that is for sure!!!

Kellen Winslow who???????????

That was nothing compared to what this kid did on Sunday.
I hope he has a fast recovery and think that he should sit out until December.

I like Tui also. I don't know why he did not follow Gruden to TB. I hope he gets the chane to play there just to see what he has in the tank.
