Title: Fred Taylor....Top trade value?
Post by captainpurple on Sep 11th, 2006, 10:30am
I picked up Taylor in one league; round 11!!   I know his injury history is long and extensive, but he shouldn't have lasted that long, IMO.

Now, off a great week 1, I think he's prime trade bait.   Personally, I sent a proposal to a team to trade him for Chad Johnson.  The guy is desperate for a starting RB, so who knows!

But on a wider scope, anyone feel Taylor is a viable back this year?   I think he's primed for trade, what do you think?

I agree with you. His stock will never be higher. There are several things in the NFL you can count on annually.

1. The Vikes and Ravens will lead the league in arrested players. ::)

2. Terrell Owens will say something stupid. :o

3 Fred Taylor will have annual Knee surgery by November. :P

Trade him in a hurry, Before he gets hurt in practice. ;D

This is right... [smiley=bullseye.gif] But, I wouldn't necessarily bank on an inevitable knee surgery.  That said, as many of yous know, I have him in JYJ's league.  I'll probably shop him.  I'm short on running backs, though, so I don't have a whole lot of wiggle room.  That said, I wouldn't trade him for any less than Marvin Harrison-ish value if I were you, cp.
