I have been a David Carr fan and apologist for some time. But, what is up with this guy's INability to get on the same page with superstar Steve Smith? Does he just lack the arm strength? I mean... I'm still hanging [smiley=hanginin.gif] on, but my patience is wearing very thin. How can you be THIS bad at getting Smith the ball? Thoughts/Comments???

I have been wondering the same thing! I have smith in one of my money leagues and his performances the last few weeks have been very disapointing. I have won but, I think I will need more from him if I am going to win it all. I'm not sure why Jake can make him look like a super star. but David makes him look like a 4th W/R?

[smiley=bouncinaround.gif] Let's see, it was Delhomme, then Carr, then Testaverde, then Carr again, but with a bad back.

It's pretty simple you got a super star that is getting double teamed every game. The chemistry has to be great on a good day to get him the ball. Logically, the chemistry just can not be there with all the changes at QB and injuries.

That said, I look for decent not great week out of both Carr and Smith in week #10. That is if the running game gets going and I think it will. [smiley=fingerscrossed.gif]

David Carr is out. Possibly forever. At least it wouldn't hurt my feelings to never see him throw a pass again.

Testicleverde is hanging on as the starter this week by a thread. It looks moore and moore (Pun) like Matt Moore will be the starter. I think he has thrown like 4 passes in his carreer. 3 complete and one pick. The Panthers are threatening to sign someone off the practice squad and push forward.

Steve Smith of the Panthers value is now equal to the value of Steve Smith of the Giants.
